About Us

While this is not our first attempt at wedding bliss, we plan on this being the last!

As many of you know, we both had a tough time recuperating from our ex-spouses both asking us for a divorce a few years back.  However, God had  a different plan for us. The Lord is amazing in how He works.  He took everything away from us just to build us back up the way HE intended us (just so you know, He's still building and we're both still under construction).  Now, Mike and I both fought this kicking and screaming as the fear of being alone was much more terrifying than being in a marriage that wasn't working.

The last time either one of us had dated it was the late 1990's...pagers were all the rage and those big 3-5lb Nokia cell phones were just coming out.  There was no Facebook/Twitter, there was no texting or Match.com; there was only dial up internet and creepy AOL chatrooms that ruled the web.  Fast forward to 2013,  both of us getting our feet wet in the dating pool and friends and family alike encouraging us both to learn to date again or to just date period.

THANK YOU FRIENDS AND FAMILY....AND MATCH.COM!! Mike hates me telling people this but yes we met on Match.com.  Best first date I ever had, I didn't want it to end. I still don't want it to end.

We'd like to take this moment to thank Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for seeing us through a really hard and dark time in both of our lives not too long ago.  We also pray for Your Blessing on our impending nuptials, Your guidance in our relationship, Your continued boutiful blessings upon our family, to be surrounded by amazing people in our lives that only want to edify You, patience with each other, and the ability to remain humble and never, ever forget that everything we have is because of You, Our Almighty Father!!!
